Er. OP Rai who is called a dynamic person of 3E’s, Engineering, Education & Entertainment with strong business development professional with a science degree B.Bc. & engineering degree B.E. (Civil) Hons.

Although being an Engineer he focused on film direction and production and thus Kala Niketan Entertainment was established. The feature films Laat Sahab & Katto were produced & released under the banner of Kala Niketan Entertainment in 2012 & 2014.

He produced & directed ‘My Friends Dulhania’ which was released on 15 December 2017. Kala Niketan Entertainment entered in film distribution in partnership with VK films in 2015 for Delhi-UP & E.P film territory. The first release of this collaboration was ‘Hey Bro’ of Ganesh Acharya. Later, Gabbar Is Back, The Legend of Tarzan, Guardians – The Superheroes & some small budget films like The Monk were also released.

His latest film “Nobel Peace” bagged BEST FILM (Jury) award 10th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival Award 2020.
